Who This Service Is For
Seeding requires attention, effort, and timing. That’s why we limit this service to customers who are truly ready to commit to the process.
To qualify, you must:
- Be an active customer on our 5-Star Lawn Program, in good standing with a valid payment method on file
- Prepay in full to reserve your spot. This is a non-refundable service due to the time and materials involved
- Be capable of managing your lawn’s watering needs consistently and effectively
- Clearly understand the service expectations and what is required on your part before and after seeding
- Sign our Terms & Conditions prior to scheduling
- Commit to seeding by a pre-specified date to ensure seasonal timing works in your favor

What to Expect From Our Seeding Process
Our team uses a commercial-grade slice seeder that plants the seed directly into the top layer of soil or thatch, improving the chances of germination by ensuring proper seed-to-soil contact.
To support your lawn’s moisture needs during germination, we include an application of Hydretain, a professional moisture management product that helps retain water in the root zone and supports seedling success—especially during dry periods.
Timing and Program Adjustments
To reduce the risk of chemical injury to new grass, we may adjust the timing of your Round 3 and 4 lawn care applications. Additionally, no herbicides should be used immediately after seeding. Our team will wait until Round 6 to apply Defendor, a post-emergent herbicide that is safe for new grass.
